About Us

First Impressions is a family business based on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria. Robert Rolls established First Impressions Projects in 1995. Robert is a qualified carpenter and Master builder, he has studied architecture, travelled widely and has brought many genres of new home and renovation concepts to fruition.

Robert Rolls, Director:
• Grew up on a family farm with four siblings
• Carpentry apprenticeship and building studies
• Studied Architecture at Oceania Polytechnic
• Worked in a carpentry role on the Consul General's residence project in Japan
• Formed First Impressions Projects to provide excellence in building and design
• Married to Natalie with four children Ciarn, Eamon, Kyah and Narah
• Pursuits include traditional Couta Boat building and fine woodworking
